Welcome to the first digital edition of NEMI Public Library's newsletter, Current.  This edition is going out to all our patrons who have supplied us with their email address.  If you would not like to receive this newsletter, please unsubscribe by following the directions at the bottom of this email.  



Our newsletter is the best way to stay up-to-date about what is happening at our library and will include events and information about programs and services at the library.  If you are interested in our previous issue, you can view it here

Writer's Ring

A supportive space for writers or would-be writers. Facilitated by Margery Frisch.

Bring a project that you are working on or start a new one while enjoying conversation and laughter.

Board Games

The Senior COMPASS Club has provided the library with a wonderful collection of board games that are available for everyone to enjoy anytime during library hours. Thursday afternoons meet up with friends or make new ones while enjoying this wonderful collection.

Creation Station

Join artists and crafters for conversation and creativity.



1st Friday of Each Month

3pm-5pm (afterschool)

Kids Creative Club

Kids will explore various artistic outlets together. Participants need to be old enough to handle art supplies without eating them or using them on furniture.



If you are interested in starting a hobby club, book club, or other club that is open to all and designed to meet the educational, cultural or entertainment needs of community members, please let us know.

An introductory class/workshop to start you off on solid ground, to get the best watercolour results.

Learn what Gail wishes she knew

BEFORE she started painting.

Bring in a few SIMPLE ideas to paint.
