Yoga Nidra and the Gift of Rest



In March of 2020 I had delivered weekly in person Nidra practices for about 90 weeks. The Thursday night class I was running at the HPRC Connection in Eureka was indeed one of the most fruitful and joy filled projects of my life.
And now as we turn the corner into 2023 I will bring the format and lessons learned in those sessions to a new location. I am excited to announce that starting with the 1st and 3rd Thursdays in January (1/5 + 1/19) from 6 - 7 p.m. I will be offering Yoga Nidra workshops in The Arcata Presbyterian Church Upstairs Gym. I absolutely love the dance practice know as Contact Improvisation. I host public jams, have taught classes, and have regularly traveled to participate in larger festivals and gatherings. It is a rather hard to explain practice and can be sometimes daunting for beginners. This is why I am organizing an upcoming multi-session Fundamentals Workshop. I am bringing in local renowned teacher Laura Muñoz who has taught at Del Arte, HSU and is currently the director of The Playhouse in Arcata.
