Conclave 2022

In just over two weeks, 400 Arrowmen from across the section will descend on Powerland Heritage Park for the first-ever conclave as Section G16.

This year's conclave is bound to be an unforgettable one. The Council of Chiefs has been very busy the past few months to plan one of the best conclave programs ever. From the fun activities and training sessions to the conclave-wide game and evening shows, this conclave is one you will not want to miss.

Registration is REQUIRED to attend. We will not be accepting walk-ins this year, so make sure you register online by September 7th. You can either pay online or pay at the door.

The cost to attend this amazing weekend is $50 and includes an event patch, four meals, and all the amazing program opportunities. New Arrowmen, those who went through their induction since September 2021, will receive a $5 discount on their registration and get access to special events during the event.

Don't Delay — Register Today!

200 Registered for Conclave!

To celebrate reaching 200 Arrowmen registered for the 2022 Section G16 Conclave, we will be drawing FIVE names from the registration list to receive a VIP Shows Experience! This special shows experience includes guaranteed front-row seating, a limited edition conclave sticker, snacks, and an ice cold root beer to enjoy during the show!

The names will be drawn LIVE during the Friday night show.

Still haven't registered? Don't worry, we will be drawing FIVE additional names for a VIP Shows Experience when we hit 300 registered participants!

Running for Section Office

Are you considering running for section office at conclave? There are some requirements you need to meet in order to do so.

Any youth Arrowman who is registered in good standing with a lodge in Section G16 is eligible to run for section office provided that they will be under the age of 21 for the entire term of office. Youth intending to run for section office should secure written approval of their candidacy from their council Scout Executive or their designee.

This approval can be sent to section adviser Vince Bishop at [email protected] (prior to conclave) or in-person at conclave.

NOAC 2022 Recap

Last month, Arrowmen from across the country gathered at the beautiful University of Tennessee, Knoxville for the 2022 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC). Over 6,500 Arrowmen attended the first conference in four years with hundreds more tuning in virtually from home. During the week-long conference, Arrowmen attended training, competed in athletic challenges, participated in fun activities, met Scouts and Scouters from around the country, and attended amazing theme shows.

Check out our recap of the conference.

Activities @ Conclave

Whether this is your first conclave or your tenth, there are plenty of fun activities and competitions to participate in at conclave this year!

Training @ Conclave

One of the most important aspects of conclave is the training program. Conclave training is designed to provide Arrowmen with new skills and ideas to take back to their unit, chapter, and lodge and help improve those programs.

There are so many things to see and do at conclave that it can all be overwhelming at times and you may be struggling to figure out just what to do at conclave.

Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered! These 12 Things Every New Arrowman Should Do at Conclave are a great way to ensure you get the most out of your conclave experience.

Lo La'Qam Geela Crater Lake Service Project

On August 6th, Lo La Qam Geela Lodge hosted a service project at Crater Lake National Park. The air was clean, and the sun was shining as the small group began the project as early as 8 in the morning. Everyone was enthusiastic about what was to come.

Trail delineation was the main focus of the project. We used large rocks to create a path along the Rim Trail, which circumferences the lake. The group built the trail to be four and a half feet wide for about 350 ft. We entered the task with the goal to run the rangers out of rock, and we did.

Lo La'Qam Geela Update

Lo La'Qam Geela is gearing up for their Fall Induction Weekends on September 16-18 at Camp McLoughlin and September 23-25 at Camp Makualla. More information and registration for both of these events can be found HERE

The lodge will be having its Fall Fellowship at Camp McLoughlin on November 11-13th. This year's theme is "The Order Strikes Back." Don't miss out on a fun-filled weekend with a Star Wars twist! More information and registration can be found HERE

Wauna La-Mon'tay Update

Wauna La-Mon'tay was able to bring back a Brotherhood program for Camp Meriwether and Camp Pioneer summer camps. Thanks to the leadership of Benjamin Flores at Camp Meriwether and Connor Sorensen at Camp Pioneer we had 64 Ordeal members seal their membership by completing Brotherhood. Brotherhood will also be offered at Conclave, our Fall Induction, and Fall Rendezvous.
