Welcome to the new members of the Victoria Cruises team who have recently joined our company.

Captain Panayiotis Kalomiris

The captain came to our company from Greece.

Quality to work under adverse situations and emergencies for extended hours.

Good administration skills and knowledge with high ability to communicate properly with the crew and staff.

A cheerful and “can-do"attitude and good personality.

Have the potential to meet critical situations in a healthy and sound manner.

Managing abilities of team work and building good spirit among the crew.

Served all officer positions in cruise ships from 2nd mate to master.

Very competent on cruise ship handling/maneuvering, navigation and Safety

Strong background on incident/accident investigation.

Strong background on LSA&FF equipment inspection and maintenance. Very good knowledge and experience of Solas , Stcw, ism/Sqm .

Shipyard experience.

Captain Ilias Venetantis

The captain came to our company from Greece.

He has more than 20 years of captaincy behind him.

He is a highly qualified professional who has worked for several major cruise companies.
He has good problem solving skills and knows many ports around the world.
He has a passenger-friendly attitude and will do his best to make you feel comfortable on board.

Managing abilities of team work and building good spirit among the crew.

Served all officer positions in cruise ships from 2nd mate to master.

Captain Elias Verveniotis

The captain came to our company from Greece.

He started his maritime career as a cadet more than 30 years ago.
During this time he has worked in a variety of disciplines, and has been a captain for 18 years.

Served all officer positions in cruise ships from 2nd mate to master.
Very competent on cruise ship handling/maneuvering, navigation and Safety

He is a very good professional who knows all aspects of shipping.

Simon Howell Cruise director

Simon joins the team from the UK.

He has worked for P&O Cruises UK, Travelsphere Cruises, Saga Cruises, Viking River Cruises and Tui Cruises UK (then known as Thomson Cruises). He is used to working with all nationalities, both as a team member and as a guest, and has sailed all over the world, so he has a wealth of experience in Norway, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Alaska, the Middle East and Far East, Australia and the South Pacific.
He has also worked with various quality hotel chains such as Le Meridian, Mandarin Oriental Hotels and Orient Express Hotels and Cruises.
Simon will be an excellent member of our team and will do his utmost to make our residents feel at home in the world's oceans.
