Equity in the Classroom

The true reality of providing equality in the classroom is to give every student a voice and a blank slate. We should give students the opportunity to tell their story. 



They should see themselves in the curriculum, have the opportunity to relate to the world around them, and experience other cultures through windows placed in front of them. 



Students should have the opportunity to build relationships within their classroom community, engaging in a culture of acceptance, empathy and respect.
