Alumni & Work Weeks 2022

We have multiple opportunities this year for you to return to Forfar during one of our Alumni or Volunteer Work Weeks (or both!) 



Alumni Week (July 23-30, 2022): Bring your friends and family for a week at Forfar Field Station to revisit your favorite sites and to enjoy a week on Andros island.



Work Week (December 10-16, 2022): Volunteer at Forfar! Work alongside fellow Forfar Alumni and staff to complete Forfar maintenance projects such as: painting, landscaping, trail maintenance, and more! All skill levels are welcome. This volunteer opportunity also includes a boat day to explore the island, relax, and have fun!

 Online Course & Travel Immersion Trip Updates

Our travel immersion trip last summer was a huge success! After participating in our Online Intro to Marine Ecosystems course, our students were able to apply what they had learned in the online course and get to see these ecosystems up close and in real life! 



We are running the travel immersion trip again this coming summer, June 4-11, 2022. If you didn't have the chance to take one of our online course sessions, it's not too late! Students that completed our Online Marine Ecosystems Course can participate in our Travel Immersion Trip AND we are also opening up the trip to others who are 16 years of age and up. Once you register for the trip, you will gain access to the online course recordings so you can study them at your own pace in preparation for the trip!
