Tickets for Kiez Burn 2022 to go on sale!

🔥 Tututu! Theydies and Gentlethem! Babes and Babies! After much deliberation and many processing of advice, we’re happy to announce that the main ticket sale will start on

Sunday, March 6, from 1:00 pm CET

Get that calendar out of your tutu and mark it. It’ll be a First Come First Served sale again, so be ready to pound that server on Sunday in two weeks. Regular tickets are still among the most affordable in the space, at only 95,- €. For the more distinguished burner we will also offer VIP (Voluntarily Inflated Price) tickets at a very reasonable 119,99 €.

LOW INCOME APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

We would love to see you at Kiez Burn but we understand that it can sometimes be challenging. While the global supply chain crisis forces a slight price increase for the regular tickets, subsidized tickets remain at 40,- €. Applications for low-income tickets are open now! Tickets are limited so please only use this method if it's hard to attend the event without this support! We'll process all applications anonymously and as fast as we can before SUNDAY, 6 MARCH, AT 13 so you have a chance in the main sale as well.

All tickets are personalized and you need a matching photo ID. You can sell tickets back to us and we’ll pass them on, but you can't directly transfer them to someone else. So if you know someone who’s working on Sunday and you’re buying a ticket for them, be sure to first get their full (legal) name and email address.

If something happens and you don’t get a ticket on SUNDAY, 6 MARCH, FROM 13, do not despair. The waiting list opens straight after, and we'll have a few more tickets coming out closer to the event. There miiiight also be directed tickets floating around for good boys, girls and enbies that are important realizers and volunteers.

THESE ARE THE ROLES WE NEED MOST AT THIS POINT IN TIME

The Kiez Burn timeline is full of wonderful ideas and events throughout the year and needs the contribution of us all to make them a reality! You are on the lookout for exciting things to do, want to connect with other burners, explore and learn new skills? Taking a lead (aka realizer) role is the way to go. You don't need to have experience but enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment. We co-create and got each other's back, you won't be alone.

You can show your interest in any of the roles either by commenting on the Talk thread or on the Realizers take-on-roles Discord channel. Let's get this started!

Covid team: Keep track on current Corona regulations and make sure we can enjoy a safe event. You can build on the expertise of the Covid crew of 2021!
Communicorn: Be the first one in getting the news, work closely with the Korg and, manage our lovely Newsletter and/or post on the Facebook group.
Volunteer Coordination: Enable the volunteer sign-up in line with tickets sales and help realizers to get the help they need onsite. We onboard you!

Kiez Burn Population

The size of the event was put up for discussion, analyzed, and reviewed to finally decide to give green light to a 10% growth. Kiez Burn could have a max. population of 1200 inhabitants. This does not mean (YET) that there will be 1200 tickets. The Korg hasn't decided yet how big of an event it will be. See the full Advice Process on Talk!

Sound Camps placement

There are only a limited number (4-5) of possible spots for loud camps and art projects. How to handle the placement and distribution of “loud” spots? Here are a few ideas on how could we work it out.

Dreams & Art funding

At the retrospective session back in 2021, a team of burners has brainstormed to rethink the way we enable Dreams (Art) at Kiez Burn. We hear your ideas & concerns around this topic.
