Biblical Families Newsletter - July 2022

Greetings!  The BF newsletter remains on hiatus, but we had to get this special edition out to remind you that our Annual Summer Retreat and Family Conference will be happening near Sevierville, TN on August 18-21st, 2022, just a month from now.   We are looking forward to our largest crowd since at least the summer of 2019, and we are returning to a location that has worked great for us in the past.  We still have some rooms left, but filling up is a possibility.  If you have been wondering what plural marriage in a Christian family looks like, or are interested in fellowshipping with families who take the patriarchal lessons of the Word seriously, or are just now studying this for yourself, you are welcome to join us.   There will be a fair number of children present, covering all ages, and your entire family is welcome.

What do we do at a Biblical Families retreat?  We worship, we pray, we get to know each other, we play games, we do meals together (for this retreat),  we take turns sharing with the group, we have separate men's/women's sessions, but mostly we fellowship - as brothers and sisters in Christ, giving the support that many of us are lacking on a regular basis.   If you need this fellowship - then please consider attending.   We think we are at a critical junction in our society today, and building these bonds that last is even more important and urgent.

If you want to know the retreat details, you just need to drop us an email at [email protected] and let us know you are interested.   You can also chat with some others who will be attending in our forum thread on the retreat here.

If you can't make it, please be in prayer for those who will be gathering.   And while this is not an excuse to skip Tennessee, we want to put this teaser out there: It looks like for our next retreat we will be returning to Texas, likely Dec/Jan, to be determined.

You can watch for more updates on our forum, and read about past retreats here.

As always, please let us know how we can be a help to you and your family,

Nathan Bender

Biblical Families exists to be a help to families.  We are grateful for God's provision, not just this year, but every year, in our homes.  God-honoring families are under attack in our culture, in every way imaginable - and we desire to band together, even though we may be physically distant, to offer support and encouragement to each other.  How can we be a help to you and your family?  Please write us anytime at [email protected].
