We are on a mission to inspire every child in Nova Scotia to eat, enjoy and value food that fuels healthier people and a healthier environment.

We believe our young people are the key to igniting this transformation.

'Tis the Season for Giving

Welcome to the December issue of Nourish News. This issue we’re sharing a retrospective of our work in 2020-2021 via our Annual Report. See how your support made a difference!

It was a year unlike any other in so many ways, and we’re exceedingly proud of how we consistently capitalized on opportunities to create healthy food environments for children in Nova Scotia.

We’re "wrapping up" the year with our Holiday Giving Campaign. A chance to pay-it-forward and make a donation in the name of a loved one, friend, colleague or co-worker. Receive a pack of 5 beautiful Holiday Cards for holiday giving made easy, or request a personalized e-Card and we will look after sending it!

May the holidays be all you hoped for and more.

Warmly,

The land on which Nourish Nova Scotia operates is Mi'kma'ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaq people. As Treaty people, we strive to work under the Peace and Friendship Treaty of 1752 by incorporating Mi'kmaw values, like cooperation, stewardship of nature and sharing, into what we do. We understand that there is still much learning and unlearning to do, and we will continue working to decolonize certain practices central to our programs.
