BURN NIGHT 2021 / SATURDAY, 27 NOVEMBER 2021

How exciting, you have a ticket: welcome to Burn Night 2021🔥 This is a participatory event, it can only take place if all volunteer shifts are full. Most important are the missing site leads: we believe there are many more talented people out there!

We are still dancing and celebrating in a pandemic, and you probably already expected it based on the current situation – things are not developing well. We will continue to get information and advice and keep you updated on changes. As of now, everyone must show an official negative test in addition to their proof of vaccination or recovery. It is no longer possible to test yourself at home, but we will have support from the Corona Bike crew at the venue! More info below or in our Covid-19 FAQ.

What else? To make the timetable perfect, we need your opinion – the survey takes less than a minute! Last but not least: Make some noise & invite your friends.

Some volunteer shifts are still open. Everyone is invited! It is necessary to fill all of them in case people cancel because of reasons. If we do not get all of our site lead shifts filled, we are not sure if the event can take place as planned...

Volunteering at the Burn Night is the best opportunity to get a sweet little taste of how we co-create events. You will meet other lovely Burners, have fun together and definitely receive some fluffing!

Our community is committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through participation and co-creation. To protect our own wellbeing, we will will let fail what the community doesn’t carry.

Community effort is more fun, right? Our event is run exclusively by volunteers – that means you. Volunteering is the best way to connect with fellow Burners and to build friendships along the way. Your chance to make this an even more awesome event!

ANGELS 😇 at your service from 4 pm - 10 am

We want you to enjoy the party, be free, have fun. To ensure a safe environment we have a team of dedicated angels to help you in case of any issues. The angels work like a mixture between awareness, security and info point. Hassled? Distressed? Consent issues? Had too much? Need info? Find us with our glowing angel wings and shiny nimbus and we will take care of you and your burning needs. If you need to get in contact quickly, please go to the entry and ask to radio the angels. If you have any questions beforehand, send a message! Enjoy 🍭

Contact tracing and all, you know the drill!

We are monitoring the current situation very closely and will let you know if anything changes. For now, this is expected to be a 2G+ event – that means you need to...

bring a proof of vaccination or recovery within the last 6 months as a QR code
install the Luca app or the Corona-Warn-App – or use a friend's phone
get tested – self-tests are no longer possible, you have to show the negative result of an official rapid test from the same day at the gate

Please don't join the event if you feel any symptoms. Just in case: Tickets are not personalized and can be transferred to another human being. Let's make sure we can celebrate safely together 💛

CORONA TEST BIKE 🦠 at your service from 6 pm - 4 am

Lift your chin and lower your mask for a sweet little swab to enter the Burn Night. We are happy to announce that we'll have the support of the CORONA TEST BIKE crew at the venue. To make the admission as easy as possible, please either go testing before or register for the on-site testing station: Use the convenient register option to book your test in advance and things will go smoothly. 🙂

... and bring your art project! If you need support for transportation or materials, you can ask for some shiny coins.

🎨 Just go to the Dreams website and put your art project up – the sooner, the better!

Get in touch

If you experienced harm or an incident where you felt your boundaries were crossed at Kiez Burn or any related event within the community, you can report this. You can do this anonymously if you feel safer that way, or if you do not wish to have any follow-up. Please pass on this info to anyone you know who has had a difficult experience.
