NEW!! - Teacher Workshop 2021

Image description

Dates: July 16-23, 2022

This summer, IFS will be running a week long teacher training workshop for middle and high school teachers new to IFS and/or interested in incorporating field studies into their teaching and learning practices. We would like to provide the opportunity for teachers to see the field station and learn more about how they could incorporate a trip to Forfar into the courses they teach. The workshop will be run by one of our veteran teachers and group leaders, Ali Laughbaum from New Albany High School in Central Ohio.

This workshop is free for teachers to attend and IFS will provide room & board, meals, and activities for the week. Airline tickets would be at the expense of the teacher/school. CEU credit may be available depending on district and administration requirements.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more, please email [email protected] or call 614-268-9930 for more information!

We are running the travel immersion trip again this coming summer, June 4-11, 2022. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must participate in any of our online course sessions prior to attending. We have a session coming up that will begin in January of 2022!

7-week Live Online Course: $299
