October 10th, make an impact on our community in recognition of World Mental Health Day and NAMI Day of Hope. All NAMI Finger Lakes services are free and made possible through the generous gifts of supporters like you.


Choose a Challenge for yourself or check out this link to the participant list to find someone you can support with a donation toward their fundraiser. There are over 50 people signed up to choose from!

NAMI FINGER LAKES FAMILY TO FAMILY CLASS TO BEGIN THIS FALL

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session education program for family, friends and significant others of people living with mental health conditions. To learn more visit: namifingerlakes.org/education


NAMI Finger Lakes Family to Family will be held online via ZOOM on Sunday afternoons 4:00-6:30 PM beginning November 1st and running through December 20th.



Class size will be limited to maintain a positive online learning experience. For more information and to register, please leave a message at 607-288-2460 or email [email protected]

NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem solving, treatment and recovery.



The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being. The program is taught by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition. NAMI Family-to-Family is an evidence-based program (EB). NAMI FL Family Support Group currently meets in Zoom online:

In order to have a safe and manageable group size that maintains privacy to the best of our ability in an in an online format, groups will be limited to 10 people. Please register soon for best availability.

Third Monday of the month 1:30 PM-3:00 PM- (October 19th)
First Tuesday of the month 7:00 PM-8:30 PM- (November 3rd)

The NAMI HelpLine is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public. HelpLine staff and volunteers are experienced, well-trained and able to provide guidance.

Self-Injury and Recovery Resource

The Cornell University Self-Injury & Recovery Resources program provides information and resources for self injury information. Their work is intended to generate new research and insight into self-injury. They also aim to translate the growing body of knowledge about self-injury into resources and tools useful for those seeking to better understand, treat, and prevent it.
